White Capped Yellow Dent corns were once quite popular in the Appalachians but are rare today. This strain originated in the Bryson City, North Carolina area and was labeled "Jackie Freeman Strain". This dent corn grows 10-12' tall with ears 8" to 10" long. Kernels range from dark yellow to orange with a light or white cap, ears having 12 to 16 rows. Cobs are mostly white. There is a lot of genetic variation to this particular strain. This will produce 100 bushels an acre. Limit 1 Pack
