Developed by the USDA in 1917 by Frederick J. Pritchard by crossing Stone and Marvel. Released to the public in 1925, Marglobe is resistant to Verticillium and Fusarium wilt. Marglobe was used to develop many other tomatoes including Rutgers. Smooth, crack resistant red fruit average 6 to 8 ounces, heavy fruit set, ideal for canning. Sprawling semi determinate growth habit. 30 seeds per pack.
